Dr. H. Kelly McKnight

Director of Development

Dr. H. Kelly McKnight, affectionately referred to as “Pastor Kelly”, has a diverse background in business and ministry. He has extensive experience both in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Following college, he entered the insurance field where he remained for 10 years, later becoming Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and then CEO of a regional insurance marketing firm.

 

He served as Vice President of Marketing (1999 – 2009) for a fundraising company that primarily supported rural volunteer emergency services organizations throughout the Southeast.


He and his wife Chastity served as Worship Pastors, later promoted to Co-Senior Pastors of Bible Deliverance Temple in Augusta, Georgia for 18 years. This diverse ministry was founded by his parents, the late Dr. H.K. and Margaret McKnight in 1963.

 

Dr. McKnight formerly served as the Executive Vice President of Development and Member Care for Logos Global Network and is a former member of the Board of Directors for the NFL Alumni Association [Atlanta Falcons].

 

He served as CEO of Bible Deliverance Temple, Church Beyond Walls and Another Chance Ministry Network. He is a sitting member of the Logos Global Network National Presbyters Council for the USA.

 

Dr. McKnight attended Holmes Theological Seminary, Lee University, University of Ill (Urbana-Champaign) and is a graduate of Logos Christian College. He holds ThM, DD and PhD degrees. He is a former Marine and Vietnam veteran and is known for his musical abilities as keyboardist, vocalist and writer.

 

“Pastor Kelly” is a much sought-after empowerment speaker and is widely recognized for His people skills and expertise in conflict resolution. In early 2000, a national church leader named him as a “Relational Connectivity Expert,” a title that he continues to live up to, even today.
